Design Concept Visualization with nXtRender nXt for AutoCAD

For this case study we are pleased to talk with Steve Hammer of BPH Architects. BPH is located in Lynnwood, Washington, just north of Seattle. BPH uses our nXtRender for AutoCAD plugin.

Hello Steve! Tell us a little about your company.
BPH Architects specializes in church and private planning and design, having worked on over 700 churches and dozens of private schools during the last 40 years we have been in business.

What sets your business apart from your others in your niche?
We are known for our listening to find out the needs of our clients and then using our experience and expertise to help them achieve their goals.

When did you start using AutoCAD and nXtRender?
Pretty much forever! We started with AutoCAD back in the mid-1980s and AccuRender (now nXtRender) soon after. We have found these tools have helped us present the design to the client in a way that they can visualize it. This also helps create enthusiasm for the project, which in turn generates positive fundraising results.

What do you like about nXtRender?
User friendly, easy to learn. Realistic and high-quality results.

What elements do you pay most attention to when rendering?
How the rendering shows the design, particularly the lighting and materials.

Please give us some background on a recent project you’ve done for which you’ve produced renderings using nXtRender.
New Life Covington. nXtRender was instrumental in helping us explore and present multiple design concepts, building colors and finishes, signage options, fenestration options, etc. to the client, which helped them make decisions in a timely manner.
