Rendering with ArielVision in Mozaik; Enabling Sales with 3D Visualization

This case study features Ezra Davis of Cornish Custom Cabinetry, based in Greenville, South Carolina. Ezra uses our ArielVision rendering software (within Mozaik; ArielVision also works in SketchUp).

Hello Ezra! Tell us about Cornish Cabinetry.
We are a custom cabinet shop that specializes in making cabinets for residential homes that are both elegant and functional. I oversee the day-to-day operation of our 15,000 square feet shop.

What sets you apart from others in the niche?
We make it our mission to source only the highest quality materials, and as craftsmen, we take pride in each product that we send out. In addition, we operate a 5’x12’ CNC that cuts all our parts with precision down to a 1000th of an inch! Building cabinets is more than just a job, it is what we love to do!

When did you start using ArielVision?
It's been at least 5 years since we started using the ArielVision. We chose ArielVision because it was the only software that we knew of that was compatible with our (Mozaik) software (ArielVision also works within SketchUp), and we are happy we did.

What do you like about ArielVision?
ArielVision makes it really easy to sell a job as well as show accurate renderings of what a job looks like prior to cutting anything. I don't know enough about all the capabilities of ArielVision to speak for any other features, we have always just used the very basic rendering feature and have not played around with it very much.

What elements do you pay most attention to when rendering?
We pay the most attention to big items, cabinet and door shapes, to make sure they render correctly.

Please give us some background on a recent project you’ve done for which you’ve produced renderings using ArielVision.
We have been working on the details for this kitchen for 18 months. The client wants an older style kitchen and the renderings have been crucial in finalizing the design. ArielVision has done an excellent job rendering some of the more detailed items!

What feedback do you receive from clients on the renderings you present? 
The main feedback we get is when our clients decide to move forward with a job because they loved the renderings!
