Easy Access to the Lighting Channels Controller
We are pleased to announce that the latest versions of both IRender nXt and ArielVision SketchUp renderers now make it even easier and more convenient for you to use our unique Lighting Channels controller. This feature is new to ArielVision!
If you are an active IRender nXt or ArielVision license holder (you bought or renewed your license in the last 12 months) download now! Email Render Plus Support Email if you have any questions.
What is the Lighting Channel Controller?
Lighting Channels let you quickly adjust your individual light sources - sun, sky, and/or artificial lighting - to balance the brightness and light without having to re-render! You'll be able to easily produce more realistic views to highlight key attributes of your model.
IRender nXt Users
The Lighting Channels controller is displayed automatically alongside the rendering window making it super simple for you to make adjustments to your lighting during or after rendering. If you prefer the panel not be displayed, just click on the collapse icon.
ArielVision Users
The Lighting Channels controller is new to ArielVision! The 3 channels provide you with extra lighting control for even better rendering results. If you like this new feature, but need more channels, consider upgrading your license to IRender nXt! Email Render Plus Support Email for pricing information.
Read our recent LandARCHConcepts Case Study on one user's experience using Lighting Channels.
Here's a few ideas on how to use the Lighting Channels:
- Adjust both the sun and sky to create dusk or nighttime renderings
- Add 'self glow' to objects, such as TV's or monitors, or illuminate signs
- Save Lighting Channel settings for reuse in future renderings
Customer Quote of the Month
"When I was asked to find a rendering package for SketchUp, I tried 6 or 8 of them. Decided on IRender nXt because it was the easiest to use and get up to speed with.” – Gary, NC, USA
