We've been hurrying all month long to get some neat new features into SketchUp before the chilly winds and snows of October come to Colorado. We think we have a couple of new functions on the
IRender nXt Toolbar
which will make things much easier for you.
IRender Ready is a collection on the Trimble 3D Warehouse of object, such as light fixtures, which have lights placed in them so they can be used directly with
IRender nXt
.
IRender Ready Components include:
- Light Fixtures
- Mirrors
- Trees
Select a component from the Wizard, download it from the 3D Warehouse, and it is ready for rendering in your model.

3D Basecamp 2012
3D Basecamp is the world’s premier gathering of SketchUp people. Part user conference, part pep rally, this year’s edition is set to take place in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado on October 15th, 16th and 17th.
Registration is still open at the Official 3D Basecamp Registration Website (at the time of this writing.)
Rich and Al Hart will be there with a table, some slide shows, some handouts and a couple of presentations.
