How do I register for a free 30 day trial?
The easiest way to register is first to select the product you want to trial. Click the Product menubar option and look at the products available (you will also find other places to click Try on our site including the Platforms and Industries menubar options). Simply click the Try button for a product you want to trial. This will lead you to a registration page you will need to complete. After registering, you login in via the MyAccount menubar option and click “Licenses (Downloads/Trials)”. Your trial product will be listed with a Download button to the right. Click the button to start the download.
Where do I download the software for my 30 day trial?
Login via the MyAccount menubar option and click “Licenses (Downloads/Trials)”. Your trial product will be listed with a Download button to the right. Click the button to start the download.
Once my 30 day trial ends is it canceled automatically or will I be charged for a license?
Your 30 day trial cancels automatically – you do not need to do anything. In order to be charged you would need to go through the purchase process.
How many free 30 day trials am I allowed?
You are eligible for one 30 day free trial. During that 30 day period you can try any of our software products. Simply click the “Try” button where you see it on our site for the specific product in which you are interested. After you have created an account (Registered) you can see a list of your trial products in MyAccount under the “Licenses (Downloads/Trials)” area. Download and Buy buttons are provided for each trial product. When your trial has ended the Status column entry will change from Active to Expired, the Download button will disappear, and the Buy button will remain so you can proceed through the license purchase process should you wish to do so (you can also purchase a license during the trial period via the Buy button).
Where can I find my License code?
When you purchased a product from Render Plus, we sent you an email with your license code.
If you have just purchased a product and have not received the email, please check your spam folder. The license code is also available in MyAccount under both the Orders and Licenses (Downloads/Trials) areas. A license code consists of 4 letters, 5 numbers, 1letter.
If you previously purchased a product, please try to locate the email we sent. Alternatively, send an email to support@renderplus.com including the email address you used when you ordered and we will find it for you.
It's 2025 and I’m an existing Render Plus customer but your website has changed! What changes should I be aware of?
We migrated to a new website and have introduced account functionality enabling you to better control activities related to your license and or trial.
Legacy perpetual license customers will need to create an account (Registration) through which you can:
Download the last version of the software associated with your license.
Upgrade your perpetual license.
Both of these options are under the “Licenses (Downloads/Trials)” area once you are logged into MyAccount.
If you cannot remember/find your license code please email support@renderplus.com. Please include the email address used for your initial purchase to help us find your code.
Legacy subscription license customers with an active subscription will have an account created for them. Login via the MyAccount page by entering the email address you used when purchasing your license in the Username field and then click the “Lost your password” link underneath the Password field to the right. You will be sent an email through which you can reset your password and subsequently access your account. Once in your account you can download the latest version of the software under the “Licenses (Downloads/Trials)” area.
For legacy subscription license customers, as was the case prior to our mid-2024 website migration, if you need your license code and cannot remember/find it please email support@renderplus.com and include the email address used for your initial purchase to help us find your code.
My organization (includes businesses and educational establishments) has a multi-user license. How do users download software for installation on their local computers after your website migration in early 2025?
Each user within a multi user account must create their own account (Registration) through which they can then download the software.
How do I cancel my subscription license?
You can cancel your subscription by logging into MyAccount. Click on “Subscriptions”, then click the Cancel button. If you cancel prior to the anniversary date of your subscription the status will change to Pending Cancellation and you can continue using the software until the End Date shown. Alternatively, you can email support@renderplus.com with the email you originally used to purchase the license and we can process the cancellation for you.
What type of licenses do you offer?
We offer monthly, quarterly or annual subscription licenses. A subscription license automatically renews until you cancel it. Subscribers receive access to new versions of the software we release and to Primary Support (personal priority support).
We also offer a perpetual license. A perpetual license gives you access to new versions of the software we release for 12 months from the date of purchase and our Primary Support (personal priority support). After the initial 12 months you can continue to use the software but can no longer access new versions and are only eligible for Secondary Support. You can upgrade a perpetual license at any point after the initial 12 months to continue to receive access to the latest version of the software and to Primary Support. This costs approximately half of the original license cost.
Does your software work with Mac as well as Windows?
No, our software only works on Windows machines.
I’m buying a new PC. What specification works best with your software?
We recommend you purchase a computer with the most cores / threads you can afford as our software utilizes your CPU. Note that our process for extracting the data from your model for rendering is not dependent on processor speed so would not be faster.
Does your rendering software use my computer’s GPU?
Our software uses your CPU. It does not utilize the GPU.
Does your software work with Windows 11?
Yes.
On how many computers can I activate my license?
For commercial licenses you can activate your license on 2 computers to be used by a same user. For example, a machine in the office and a machine at home. If you need to remove your license from a computer because you want to activate it on a different computer (e.g., new computer, existing computer crashed, etc.) you can either use the “Replace unused computer” button on the License dialog or email support@renderplus.com with your license code and the name of the computer you want to deactivate and we’ll do it for you.

nXtRender Install errors (Unknown Command "nXt")
Normally nXt registers its commands with AutoCAD during installation. On occasion, this mechanism may fail. In this case you will need to manually load nXt the first time you run it in a particular version of AutoCAD. Use the following procedure:
Type _APPLOAD at the command line.
Navigate to the folder where nXt was installed. This is normally C:\Program Files\AccuRender nXt.
Select one of the following files depending on your platform:
AccuRender nXt.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt64.arx (AutoCAD 2007 – 2009)
AccuRender nXt_18_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_18_64.arx (AutoCAD 2010 – 2012)
AccuRender nXt_19_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_19_64.arx (AutoCAD 2013 – 2014)
AccuRender nXt_20_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_20_64.arx (AutoCAD 2015- 2016)
AccuRender nXt_21_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_21_64.arx (AutoCAD 2017)
AccuRender nXt_22_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_22_64.arx (AutoCAD 2018)
AccuRender nXt_23_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_23_64.arx (AutoCAD 2019)
AccuRender nXt_24_.arx -OR- AccuRender nXt_24_64.arx (AutoCAD 2020)
AccuRender nXt_24_64.arx (AutoCAD 2021-2024)
AccuRender nXt_25_64.arx (AutoCAD 2025)
Press Load
Check the AutoCAD command line to verify that the application loaded without error. At this point you should be able to type nxt or ar5 to launch the application. You should not have to repeat this procedure again for this version of AutoCAD. Simply typing nxt or ar5 at the command prompt should cause nxt to load. You may need to repeat this procedure if you install another version of AutoCAD.
